Little Red

Wow, well I can’t believe that the New Year is nearly upon us I mean, at one stage we didn’t even know if we were going to even make it to Christmas let alone the next year. So I say, celebrate the end of this year the best that you can, whether you go out with friends and drink a bit tad too much or whether you’re spending the evening with the little ones watching the fireworks, as long as you’re happy, I’m happy.

For those of you who follow my blog will know that this year has had it’s up and downs, so I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’ll be glad for the New Year to start. For those of you who have read up to this stage and wondering what all of this has relavance to Little Red, well, you’d be pleased to read, there is none. Just something I drew and coloured which just so happen to coincide with New Year’s Eve. (I got lazy with the wolf.)

Now, to continue with the irrelavancy of each paragraph, I’m going to ask you a question and would like you to consider it as thoroughly as possible. Would you lend a large amount of money (say, £2000, or $3232.8 US) to someone who you probably knew would not give it back to you, either in a long time or probably not at all without constant nagging and hassle. Even if were a member of your own close family?

Sorry to end on such an ambigious note, I wish you all a Happy New Year.

Dude, this is awesome. Did you do color these with chalk pastel?

Oh, and to answer your question, probably “no”. I’m thinking of someone in my own family, and it makes me shudder. Been there before…

    • Thanks Adam! No, I sketched them out using pencil, then scanned it into the computer and digitally coloured them via Photoshop. I was aiming for a ‘hand painted’ look, so this comment still made me happy haha!

Oh, what happened? So you didn’t lend the money? Thanks, I’m still pondering about it…

They both turned out awesome! I love your artwork. You have a very unique style.

As far as the money goes, I lent out a couple times and never got it back. Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me…

As I’ve said before, 2012 was only suppose to be the beginning of the end!!! But I”m not here to spread doomsday messages, I like your drawings, are you freelancing?

    • Haha! Oh good, save them for later in the year when someone will say ‘the world will end on the first Friday the 13th, 2013!’ Thank you very much, no not yet, I would like to, but I feel a little inexperienced to be offering any services.

When it comes to lending money the wise thing to do is to lend only what you can afford to lose!
